Notes

IAA District 3 - Director Wayne Thiel 890-8866.

This well-maintained, state-owned airstrip is located along the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. The privately owned Middle Fork Lodge is about 1/2 mile west on the other side of the river.

The IAA constructed a shelter with a picnic table off the northeast end of the strip several years ago. There also is an outhouse nearby. Wilderness camping and hot springs are available along the river in both directions from the airstrip.
