Upcoming Events at Wilson Bar

Notes

IAA District 2 - Director Bill Ables (541) 263-1327

The FAA has assigned Wilson Bar the identifier code C48.

The Forest Service and IAA volunteers are scheduled to make improvements to Wilson Bar this spring, including the removal of trees that have been blocking a nearby road, encouraging ATV traffic to use the airstrip for access to the river. They also plan to install signs advising drivers to avoid driving on the airstrip.

Actual airstrip length is 1,470 feet.

Pilots should be aware that another popular airstrip, MacKay Bar, is only two miles downstream.
