This is a rough little desert airstrip on BLM land above the Owyhee River in the southwest corner of Idaho. It used to serve the private ranch down on the river, but the new ranch owners recently built their own airstrip at the ranch. The new airstrip is not open to the public.

The old airstrip rarely receives maintenance and often is rutted. It would be a good idea to take a close look before landing.

Airstrips may have basic navigation aids such as windsock and runway markers and limited or no user facilities. Typically located in the remotest settings away from roads and communities.
Maintenance: Clear hazardous vegetation from approaches, remove obstacles, treat noxious weeds and maintain useable airstrip surface.
