-115.9312778This airstrip is a popular fly-in picnic and camping spot because of its location near Boise and its excellent maintenance by the Idaho Division of Aeronautics. Camping facilities include shelters, tables, fire places, toilets and showers. During the open season (spring through fall), Aeronautics provides a full time caretaker and courtesy pickup truck ($5 per day, 30-cents per mile). Caretaker is Annie Wade. Flew into U88 on 3/21/24. Strip is in great shape, even greening up. Was firm and didn't find any soft spots. It's been warm and dry for the last week or so, but could change with forecast rain/snow.
