Henry’s Lake

This high-elevation, turf airstrip is state-owned and usually in very good condition, located near the renowned Henry's Lake fishery. Unfortuntely, it's not close enough to the lake to easily walk your float tube and fly rod to water's edge. There are two camp sites at the airstrip with tables, stoves, potable water and pit toilets. IAA, EAA and Civil Air Patrol volunteers do an excellent job maintaining this airstrip.

Observation Date: October 23, 2021

Landed over the Lake, Strip was in amazing condition. Little rough in parking but no biggie.

Observation Date: September 21, 2021

Strip was in great shape! Landed 06 and Recommend landing on the second set of white rocks, it’s a lot smoother. All in all it’s great spot to stop and even BBQ/rest.
