Observation Date: June 22, 2024

Bridge is now closed; sign says the new bridge will be installed in June. Head north of the strip, cross Elk Creek at the culvert and hit the trail running along the creek towards town. It adds about a 1/4 mile to the usual route to Trudy’s.

Observation Date: April 12, 2024

Idaho City in perfect condition! Bridge is getting worse for wear but still serviceable.

Observation Date: March 21, 2024

Flew over Idaho City on 3/21/24. Looks like a few have landed, but probably had a good cleaning job after. Some snow still on the N end, probably muddy and sloppy. Should wait until the snow is gone and field drys out so as to not rut it up.
