Someone pressed down some grass about 10' east of the original runway. I used it for ops the last two days and it's much less rutted out than the main runway.

Observation Date: September 25, 2024

Airstrip is in good condition. Dry and suitable for most. I was in a taildragger with 8.50’s but I think 6.00’s and nose gear would be fine. Windsock looks like new!

Observation Date: May 3, 2023

Spent a morning at Owyhee yesterday and found the strip as well as surrounding ground to be in excellent condition. Runway is dry and smooth and brush is manageable for high-wings. Fishing was great!
