US Airforce jumps in vicinity of airport.

July 06, 2019 - McCall (KMYL) Fly-in and Open House
Join the fun at the biggest ever McCall Airport Open House and Fly-in on the long 4th of July holiday weekend. There will be events for pilots, families, and youth. Amy Hoover – renowned backcountry flight instructor, college professor, and author of, "Mountain, Canyon, and Backcountry Flying” will be the keynote speaker. There will be hands-on STEM events for kids as well as helicopter rides (subsidized for 18 and under), raffle & prizes, food, aviation centered display booths, and more. Maintenance: Clear hazardous vegetation from approaches, remove obstacles, blade, mow, water, treat invasive and noxious weeds, and make spot improvements regularly to maintain improved airstrip surface.
