The runway surface can be rough and/or soft in spots. Pilots may be sharing air space with aircraft arriving or departing the Flying B airstrip 1/2 mile upstream.
Due to close proximity to Flying B airport, monitor - announce intentions on 122.9. Go arounds not recommended due to steep rising terrain north of RWY. Use caution for large game and pack animals.
Airstrip Classification: WILD
Airstrips may have basic navigation aids such as windsock and runway markers and limited or no user facilities. Typically located in the remotest settings away from roads and communities.
Maintenance: Clear hazardous vegetation from approaches, remove obstacles, treat noxious weeds and maintain useable airstrip surface.
