Chamberlain Basin Airstrip
IAA District 2 - Director Bill Ables (541) 263-1327 Once one of Idaho's most popular airstrips, Chamberlain lost that status after camping amenities were removed and several major fires ravaged the area. The Forest Service still is trying to find a solution to the drainage problem at the intersection of the two runways. Wilderness camping is available at several sites adjacent to the main runway.
