extensive damage caused by extreme weather that hit an area from Moose Creek all the way into Missoula, Montana. Trees down and huge pines broken like matchsticks.
Turns out that the windstorm at Moose Creek blew out the Ranger Station's water system and some trees came down on two of their buildings. Due to no water and extensive damage the USFS closed their station there immediately for the time being.
The ruways appears to be undamaged, but the area is probably not safe, due to debris and fallen/damaged trees. We'd recommend you land elsewhere. Hopefully the IAA and USFS can schedule some work parties to clean things up.
