Note from Buck & Joni Dewey, owners: We are a private airstrip and the airstrip is open to Mackay Bar Outfitters Guests Only. We do require confirmed reservations: Email: [email protected] or 208-965-8355 backcountry message service or 208-413-2109 Joni's cell This is to ensure availability and so we can plan for meals/groceries/ etc. We are starting to book larger groups, weddings and functions, in doing so, at times we reserve the entire ranch (including airstrip) to our guests and the airstrip will be closed, that is why we are asking for confirmed reservations for fly-ins. We are no longer offer tent camping, although pilots are more than welcome to make reservations for lodging. Pilots should be aware that the Wilson Bar airstrip is located two miles upstream. Watch for elk and horses on airstrip.
