This turf airstrip is well maintained by the Idaho Division of Aeronautics. It has three campsites with tables, fireplaces, drinking water and a pit toilet. The popular Bonneville Hot Springs is about a mile away. Fishing usually is not bad in the South Fork of the Payette, an easy hike from the southwest end of the strip.

The runway is dry along the full length. Some knee-high grass that has not been mowed. Several squirrel holes and squirrels darting across the runway upon landing.
