McCall Airport Open House and Fly-In

McCall Airport Open House and Fly-In

Our theme this year is SMOKEJUMPERS to help commemorate the Smokejumpers Reunion happening the same weekend!

A showing of Return to the Big Skies: Miss Montana to Normandy will be played in the McCall Aviation Hangar until just before 5. Miss Montana will be on static display on Sunday morning as well.

KB Burritos, Sandbar Shave Ice, and Broken Horn Brewery will be on hand providing tasty treats and drinks! Kids, get your beaver tail pinned on the airport map before 11! The Beaver Drop will happen around 11:20.

We’ll also have helicopter rides, great speakers, an amazing static display, and a visit from Miss Montana, a retired smokejumper DC-3 from Missoula. A little bird told me there will be a parachutist! Booths inside Hangar 100 (City Airport office/shop) include: Barn Owl Books, ITD Aeronautics, IAA, Crista Worthy books, 4H, Firewise, USFS Fire Prevention, Mountain Home Air Force Base, and 99s!
