Smiths Prairie Airport Fly-In, Campout and Work Party

Campout – Friday Night – arrive anytime you wish, dinner, drinks and entertainment on your own.

Work Party – Saturday AM – we will make breakfast burritos beginning around 8:30am for any and all in attendance. Work activities will start around 9am.

Things to do:

• Spread gravel for the new campsites
• Rehabilitate the tie down anchors
• Install two fire rings for the new campsites
• Clean the outhouse and stock for the season

Tools to bring if you have room – shovel, hard tine rake, work gloves

The runway is in excellent condition and we are told there are very few (if any) gopher holes to be filled on the runway itself. So most our work will be limited to the camp and parking areas. The weather Friday and Saturday looks really nice. Great time to be in the mountains.
