The Island Park Overnight Fly in
On October 1st overnight to October 2nd at Brad and Lori Hills’ uncharted airstrip in Island Park.
Come enjoy the fall flying and see what Brad and Lori Hills’ Island Park Airstrip is all about. On Friday October 1st and Saturday October 2nd, The East Idaho Chapter IAA will be hosting dinner Friday evening from about 5:30 to 7pm and breakfast from about 8:30 to 10 am.
You’re welcome to bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share. You’re invited to fly in and camp, bring your RV to camp or fly in for both meals and the activities that may follow. Brad and Lori are very happy to share this airstrip with everyone and are hoping to have it charted in the near future.
Here is information from Brad on his strip: Runway is 50’ wide, 3000’ long (2000’ gravel 1000’ sod). Good conditions. Runways 35/17-No tie downs in parking area.
