Wallowa County Fly-In and Banquet – Joseph Oregon (JSY) on July 7th and 8th

Enjoy a fun weekend in Joseph Oregon at the Wallowa County Fly-In and Banquet. Festivities start Friday July 7th with a dinner banquet, live music, auction and dance. On Saturday July 8th, enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast while viewing interesting static displays, a STOL demonstration and a performance by the West Coast Ravens RV formation team.

The Northeast Oregon Aviation Foundation (NEOAF) is sponsoring a fundraiser dinner banquet with live music at the Joseph airport at 5:30 pm on Friday, July 7, 2023.  The Banquet will feature a live auction and a silent auction will begin at the banquet. Banquet tickets are available here. The proceeds from the Banquet, Fly-In and Auctions are directed by NEOAF: www.NEOAFoundation.org for the support of aviation and aeronautical sciences education for youth in North East Oregon, and to support future fly-ins.

Beginning on Saturday morning, July 8, there is a pancake breakfast from 7–10 a.m. The airshow will begin at 8 a.m. after the Colors are presented by VFW and the National Anthem is sung by a local musician. Admission and breakfast tickets are available at the gate. Along with several professional airshow acts, there will be a STOL (short take-off and landing) demonstration, a static display of numerous aircraft spanning decades of aviation, and an interactive educational kiosk for students. Aviation merchandise will be available for purchase.

General Aviation enthusiasts, as well as the public, are invited to join in the fun day of aviation activities. This fundraiser supports a county-wide high school aviation and aeronautical sciences program coordinated with Treasure Valley Community College of Idaho.

This is a popular event, and with the airshow, the field will be closed at certain times. Still, lots of planes will be flying in, so be sure you plan ahead if you plan to fly in!
