950’ usable is more realistic unless you’ve got big tires, then you’ve got more room on the East, downstream end. The wing clearance is not a concern for the usual Cessna or Piper, however, the tread is very narrow, perhaps 12 feet, so where the 30’ feet comes from in the description, not sure. Add to the mix bumps and some off camber toward the north, makes for much more challenge than many strips. All that said, I found the biggest challenge was getting the airplane off the runway to provide clearance for possible other aircraft. Perhaps the least bad area (for standard size tires) is just south of the west turn around. Midfield, there is a fire ring and a few small areas with soil for tents, though you’ll be dodging rocks with every stake.
