The road adjacent to the airstrip is a corridor through the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. Wilderness rules apply either side of the road. A fully developed campground lies about a half mile downstream from the airstrip. Fishing can be good in Loon Creek. Hot springs are located about five miles downstream. The Diamond D guest ranch is about three miles upstream. They will pick you up at the airstrip.
