Program Rules
- Only a Selfie Spot placard photograph entered in the EXPLORE IDAHO webpage will be accepted. If a participant has difficulty uploading their photograph, reach out to your district director or other IAA officer.
- Participants are encouraged to report any issues regarding the EXPLORE IDAHO Selfie Spot placard so that they can be replaced if needed, and to help inform other participants traveling to that airport.
- If a Selfie Spot placard is missing, take a picture at the location with some form of identifier (eg cabin campground, windsock) and report the missing poster.
- A picture including your face (selfie) that will help us recover the location and date, is needed as proof that YOU were there.
- This program is open to all IAA member pilots and their IAA Member passengers. Participants are not required to be an Idaho resident.
- There is no deadline for completion of the EXPLORE IDAHO as long as the program remains in operation. The cut-off date for any annual awards is October 31st.
- The program will be updated as necessary to reflect the most current list of participating airports. Again, for a current list of participating airports visit: www. idahoaviation.com.
- Participants must ensure their cellphone camera has GPS & date logging enabled, otherwise we cannot download the information.
- All participants must log the requisite Safety Sessions to qualify for awards.
- Participating airports may change, and updates will be posted on the IAA web site. Note: airport closures due to fire or other hazards may force a withdrawal. If you have a code for an airport that is subsequently withdrawn, your code will still be valid.
- Prizes may be subject to change or cancelation.
